Default catback or muffler?

Hey guys. As of now I am running Long tubes, TSP catted Y to a hooker muffler. The muffler is on its way out and I really love the sound so I have decided to get another one. My question is should I have the muffler welded in or get the catback. Right now I believe I still have the stock ws6 I pipe. Am I leaving anything on the table as far as sound or performance goes? I have heard the stock ws6 muffler itself is the only restriction.

Thanks

I think the axle pipe and I pipe are stock. The color is different between them and the tailpipe and I don't see any clamps or welds down by the I pipe

Is having a stock ws6 axle pipe and I pipe going to be restrictive as far as sound and performance?
