Default Is it ok to Bypass Ignition-Relay-Starter Wire

I've read some threads and I am having a similar issue.

My RX7 is LS1 swapped and the relay was bypassed from the Ignition to Starter Wire, it had a 30amp inline fuse that eventually started smoking and caught fire.

People have said that you can just hotwire the Starter Wire to the Ignition without issue. I tried the hotwire method and it works.

I just want to get a solid answer on if it is ok to hotwire them and be safe to drive around without a fuse or running to the clutch pedal switch.

I am guessing the only reason why the Fuse caught on fire/melted was because it was seeing too much power on the starter wire side.

Thanks in advance guys.

Nvm, bypassed it and the car runs fine.

Problem was trying to run to much power thru the 30amp fuse.
