I decided to clean my air filter and maf since it hasnt been done since I purchased the car.....

This is what came out of the air filter just from shaking it around a bit





I would say a good 3-5 table spoons worth of dirt and ****!!!
needless to say I think my car will be breathing much better now lol

damn, mine was much worse though, dude that had the car before me didn't do any upkeep on the thing. Took me about 2 hours to clean the filter out.

oh most definitely, the k&n in it was completely black. Felt like a new car again, but now I hurt a u-joint, so need to do that this weekend lol.

^ X2 my car was making noises like a spark noise! i replaced my water pump and while am there i cleaned my air filter and man that wasnt the same car! lol fast response no noise feels gr8...just a proof that SLP lid seals perfectly

Jesus crist! I've never had any of my filters close to that dirty (CAI in my truck, K&N on the quad)! I guess that's a great free mod though haha.
