how to remove plug on back of ls1/ls6 intake???

Default how to remove plug on back of ls1/ls6 intake???

I am trying to figure out how to take off the whole peice at the back of the intake off. Does any one know how this comes out without dammaging it? Thnaks.

I am not sure what plug you are talking about. There is a removeable MAP sensor on an LS6 intake. (I don't about the LS1 intake.)

That plug has two tabs on the inside that need to be squeezed in order to remove it. IIRC, someone here made a tool from a piece of tubing, removed the throttle body, slipped it through the hole, and pressed the tubing over the tabs...
