Do QTP stainless headers keep there polished look forever?

Do QTP stainless headers keep there polished look forever? I am looking at buying some QTP headers and I was wondering if they stay looking as polished as they do new for a long time or not

what rallye said. i have qtp headers on my car, under the car the headers are dirty, between the engine and body they are purple/gold, and under the hood, if you wipe them down, they get some sheen back but not the shine they had when new.
