90mm throttle body on BBK Question

Default 90mm throttle body on BBK Question

Trying to figure out if anyone has done this or if it can be done eddlebrock has a 3 bolt 90mm throttle body and the mouth of the bbk intake is is 3 5/8 inch with equals 92 mm so will it work.

I don't see any reason why it shouldn't work, as long as you're 100% sure of the intake opening size; I say go for it!

I'll might have to give this a good look myself, but I already have a ported BBK 85mm on mine.

Default Throttle body

Left my caliper at work gonna double check but i dont see it being of more than 1mm or less

Hmmm ii thought I ready somewhere it only fits a 85 mm if it fits anything bigger I might have to get one

Is it the Edelbrock #350-3864 you're looking at?
The only thing I noticed is that there's no air tube/pcv hose hook up on the passenger side of the TB.

Wilson Manifolds #474090 looks like it would work also, plus it has the hose hook up on the passenger side of the TB.
The down side is that it cost over $100 more.

i got a 96mm tb on a 90mm intake. why wouldnt it work??? am i missing something?

Re measured the opening with my caliper and it come to 88.9000mm pretty sure you can get 1.1 mm with a little massaging.Wish i had one to try to see how far it was off.And yes i was looking at the Edelbrock throttle body

Did anyone try this yet? I am going to have to replace my 85mm throttle body anyway on my BBK SSi , a 90mm upgrade would be nicer.
