Question What is this??

Its a small filter attached to a hose that goes down to the front driver side tire area. it is attached to something down there but Im not sure what? anyone know what mod it is and what it does?

the hose gose to the air pump,normal that hose plugs into the air box.

I am not 100% certain, but I think it goes to the stock lid, that tube just plugs right in, I assume whoever changed lids, just put that filter on instead. And I think that tube runs to an air injection pump. Sure some expert will chime in but really its nothing.

That hose goes to the air pump for the air system on your car. That hose usually plugs into your lid but that lid that was put on the car does not have the necessary connection for it. Thats just a breather filter put on it. Works either way.

Reduces emissions on start up, gets cats to operating temperature faster. Do yourself a favor and deleted the air system from your car. It makes future modifications and general maintenance a lot easier.
