LS1/6 coils had their own plug pattern. LSanythingelse coils won't work unless you change the coil harness to LS2/3/7 style. Also, your coils mount directly to the valve covers, right? No other coil will mount.
You won't notice any improvement over the stock LS1 coils unless you move to the round truck coils with exposed heat sink on the back. Additional improvements can be had with the coils with a tune.
Stay with the stockers. Go with GM coils. Don't buy the MSD coils, they're no improvement over stock and have a high failure rate.

Any truck that has coils that look like those with the heat sinks on the back.
You can't change valve covers as yours are perimiter bolt, not center bolt.
Everything you'll need to know is in this one post:

i seen this the other day not saying to not go with them but there is no power increase .. they are easy to find and probably can find them on a 99-up 5.3 silverado at a junkyard or anywhere for cheap

Well I've changed the plugs and wires, I've taken the car to 2 different muffler shops to check the exhaust flow and they both told me everything was OK. The car does have many miles on it. This is my daily driver, about 200 highway miles every day. When I drive at a normal pace, or even when I need to get past some knucklehaed on the highway everything is good. The car does not miss or sputter. BUT when I jam down on the gas to get rid of a pest that is bothering me the car will hesitate spit a bit then take off. I checked my gas milage yesterday and I am getting almost 26 mpg.

Was it doing it before you changed the plugs/wires? If not, you have a 99.9% chance you cracked one or got a bad wire.
If it was, you need to have a scan ran to find out which cylinder is misfiring or if all of them are. If it's just 1 or 2 move the coils around and see if it follows. Then move the injectors around or replace them with known good ones and see if it follows.
Replace the fuel filter regardless if you haven't done so recently. I check mine at least every other oil change, if you can't effortlessly blow through it with your mouth (connect a short piece of clean hose) then it's trash.
Check WOT fuel pressure.

where do u live? go hit up the regional section for a reputable tuner in your area. have them run a diagnostic, and try to track down the problem. until then do as suggested with the fuel filter. if you don't know how either search it on here or go grab a chilton's manual.

I agree with everybody else here. A good tuneup which includes plugs, wires, fuel filter and maybe pulling the TB for a good cleaning including the IAC. The fuel filter is located in front of the rear left tire. Find a Bosch or Wix filter.
With your mileage, you probably also need at least the front O2 sensors. You'll do well with Bosch 13111 O2 sensors for a Corvette. Longer cables and higher wattage heaters so you'll get to closed loop quicker. Many here run them.
IF you really think it's a coil, buy one or two (stock) coils from GM and swap them around and driving the car to see if the problem goes away. I would NOT reccommend you do the coil change to a LS2 truck version.
