Default underdrive pulley question

I am in the process of installing my new underdrive pulley, on ls1howto says that stopping at 200 ft-lb is good enough, well I got it to 200 ft-lb and it looks like this

should the pulley be like this? shouldn't the end of the crank line up with the pulley?

I don't remember from my Install. But put a belt on and as long as it lines up then your fine.

I eye balled it referencing a near by pulley and it looked great.

If your getting near 200 ft pounds, you have drawn it on perfectly.
