I asked about one on here, and everybody told me its really just a looks mod. Doesn't give much performance if any. So for $60 or more, depending on where ya look, i decided against it, for now.

Not worth the money, there is a write up on making one for a couple bucks from homedepot, but even that's not even worth the time, money wasted

I say do get one, but not a SLP bellow cuz its just a mark up. The real hose only cost about 10-20 shipped. Check out this site.

They have legit knockoffs on ebay. I bought one. It was around $30 IIRC. It is an appearance mod, but worth it to me

Bought the SLP bellow to replace that hideous accordian style. Wanted a nice pre formed style bellow, not some junky looking tube from Home Depot. And the 15rwhp gain is nice as well.

I agree with you.

I however bought the SLP Bellow but agree with searching for one on eBay if you desire it.

I got a slp to replace the ugly factory setup bit scores mine on eBay for $30 shipped. Watch for auctions sams bid in the last 30 seconds and sometimes you get lucky. Saved over $50 on my Volant intake like that as well.

My ss had one on the car when I bought it. Idk if it gains anything or not. I dont think its worth buying IMO. If you want something like that just make something like alot of people do out of material at home depot or something.

i bought a fernco and the piece of **** wouldn't stay on, the rubber is so hard and wont flex which causes it to come off when the engine flexs from revving up or just giving it throttle

I have an SLP on mine, but I got it for almost nothing...it was too long, had to trim it as it was making the lid not seal properly in the back...it looks nice as long as you keep on top of cleaning the dust off of it...dust likes to stick to silicone couplers. I really don't think there was any power gain at all, but it certainly didn't hurt anything.
