I pulled the catback off my car cause it was stock and quiet, I have SLP LT's with an O/R Y-pipe....im gonna just put a 3" dynomax race bullet with a 3" turn down on the end of they Y-pipe......what do you guys think? should I do that or is it ghetto? lol

thats what I figured...I dont want a huge exhaust that hangs so low that it scraped on flat ground.....and im def not spending 400-500 bucks on a cat-back, ill spend that money somewhere else....at least with the single race bullet it wont hang down

pretty ghetto if you ask me, probably looks like crap from a profile, probably won't sound to good either, probably going to be less beneficial power wise.

but if you just want loud go ahead.

if anything just find a used system. . . .i got my GMMG for 200$ plus my slp lm1 that i got in a straight trade.

Actually it doesn't sound that bad check youtube there is a few clips of dumped ys with a bullet,a magnaflow bullet will be your best shot at it sounding ok imho,

This is my exact setup at the moment. I trimmed the turndown so you can't see it from the side or the rear. Sounds wicked at idle with my cam, screams at WOT, but other than that its miserable. Driving on the freeway sucks. I'm likely purchasing a catback this spring because its so annoying.

the turn down will scrape. unless you have a lower profile turn down. if i wer you i'de splice in a good merge and do a bigger i-pipe.

Mine is that way, it sounds pretty good too. Its only temporary until I get my LT's and get my exhaust done at a shop. I just couldn't let it sit there and go to waste haha.

LOL im lovin some of the comments.....yeah im goin ahead and doin it tomorrow, ill def post vids soon after.....this is probably gonna be temporary till I cam it then buy a nice exhaust.....and noise really doesnt bother me.....I DD'd my 11 sec cobra and that had dumps, im not to worried about it lol
