Default Air Delete Help

Title says it, I have a 2000 Trans Am. One of 2 vacuum lines that come out of the air solenoid go to a T fitting, one end of the T fitting goes into the back of the intake manifold and the other goes to a vacuum line that seems to find its way toward the passenger side of the engine bay. Lines coming off the air solenoid are shown below:

I know you are supposed to get rid of the air solenoid but I've heard 2 different versions of what you are supposed to do to with the passenger side vacuum line and the port on the back of the intake manifold. I want to set the record straight and do this right.

Do I:

Cap off the port on the intake manifold and cap off the vacuum line going towards the passenger side of the car.

or

Connect the passenger side vacuum line into the intake manifold.

I really need to get this car running again, I appreciate any input anyone can provide.
