serpentine belt issue in LS1 88 IROC
Guys I am having problems with the serpentine belt wanting to come off from the idler tensioner and the the alternator pulleys. The rest of the pulleys seem to be aligned.
I bought the car in pieces I have no idea what anything is but my heads are 243 castings (LS2 or C5 Z06??), and my block is an LS1. All of this in a 88 IROC.
Has anyone seen this before? Do I just shim the pulley's? Shouldn't it all align ?? Is there any reason why the alternator pulley is so out of alignment? Idler?

1st post - trying to get the car running reliably I will introduce myself as soon as it runs!!!!!!!!
