Default Power Steering Leak

After installing new Aeromotive fittings and braided hose, there is a leak right at the steering box on the high press side, where the fitting joins the box.
I can't seem to tighten it any, so I'm wondering if untightening it a bit, then re-tightening might do the trick.
In the event this doesn't work, what's the best way to remove the fluid? Is the fluid sucked out of the reservoir from above, or maybe remove the hose from the low pressure side just below the reservoir, then drain from the nipple? I'm hoping not to make a mess.
Thanks.

I used a mity vac to evacuate all of the old fluid out when I swapped pumps. Easy and clean. There will be a little bit left in there but not enough to get everwhere if your careful.

As for tightening the line, you could try some plumbers tape (that white flimsy stuff) on there if you loosen it upo and put it back in. It may be cross threaded if it wont tighten anymore or it may just be as tight as the fitting will allow. Be careful NOT to cross thread it though because its easy to do with those type fittings.

Did you remember to install the O-ring on the fitting?

Nope, that stuff is made for tapered pipe fittings. These are machine thread and do not depend on the threads for a seal.

Bingo! Install or replace it.

Yes, I'm wondering if this was dislodged, or maybe twisted like a rubber band.
Now that it's 0 deg F in the garage, I can't wait to get out there to fix it!

Thanks everyone for the ideas!
