806 head cc and milling ??
hey guys im looking for a little info and help here. im buying some ported 806 heads off a friend, no milling or surfacing has been done yet.
im looking for the stock cc #s for theses heads. which so far my searching has lead me to beleive it is 66.67cc with a 10.1:1 CR. does that sound right?
also im looking to mill the heads down to raise the CR to about 11:1. how much material will need to be taken off inorder to get there?
what thickness of gaskets would be recommended to run with these heads and CR?
mods so far to the TA are full exhuast, lid and cam, ls6 intake stock
thanks for the help in advance!

Ya I wouldn't get involved with 806 heads they're early 97-98 style heads that have perimeter style valve covers so you would need different valve covers since you have a 02. You would be downgrading. Get your 241s milled

well the thing is im getting these heads dirt cheap and they have been ported and worked over. and the valve covers and coil brackets im getting with them in exchange for mine. the heads made 430 at the wheels with an f13 cam (i beleive its that model cam) buying the heads off a friend
