Header Q's. 1 3/4" vs 1 7/8" vs stepped.
So I'm researching headers for my 00 LS1 Trans Am and brand names aside, what's the big difference between the 3? I do plan to increase displacement and supercharge the car eventually, but it's gonna be some time down the road. So which header is the best for me to go with that'll give me the best benefits now on a mostly stock engine (minus emissions equipment) and will serve me well under 10-13psi of supercharged boost? I've read so much on each but I'm hoping to get some professional opinions on this. Thanks guys.

If you plan on heavily modifying the car I would recommend going with 1 7/8 long tube. We have done some engine dyno tests comparing the 1 7/8 and 1 3/4 and the 1 7/8, we found that the 1 7/8 will match low end power of the 1 3/4 and pick up 6-10hp up top. On a heavily modified setup I would expect more of a power pick up.
