Default TBSS intake.

I have my 408 short block now and was planning on using the stock truck 6.0 intake until i can afford a fast. I found a good deal on a TBSS intake and wile I know it is better, is a worth wile stepping stone(probably staying for at least a year if I go with it), or should I hold off and get the fast 6 months down the road?

I figure it is a good stepping stone plus this summer I could probably sell it and then upgrade to the fast and not really loose any money.

Let me know what you think and possible hp gains of the TBSS over the stock 6.0.

Nobody has an idea if this is a worthwhile stepping stone, or should I just suffer a short wile and get the fast.

the TBSS ls2 intake is one of the best intakes there is, period. If its good enough for teh GM prototype cars at daytona I would say its nearly as good as a FAST

So you are saying unless I am going into a class and need the last extra .1 to be competative, the SS intake should be good for my weekend toy and make 99% of the power a fast will?

I don't see anyone disagreeing!

But i also don't see anyone also giving the thumbs up.

I am buying the intake regardless and if I feel the reason to upgrade I should be able to get my money back out of it.

no you will need an aftermarket 4 bolt cable TB. I would see if it is portable to use a 92mm or so and get an Ebay one
