Default which one?

I just installed some slp headers and did straight pipes on my camaro ss. But it seems like its running lean..do you know which programmer would be good, easy to use an affordable??

I would get a dyno tune. Programmers suck lol.

They are not too bad they had a programmer shootout along time ago in the gm high tech magazine and the all around best one in my opinion was the diablo predetor with 01 ss with headers and exhaust it had a rwhp gain of near 12 and 16 rwtq dyno tune is best way to go but that would be what I would get if I was getting a programmer

I would also suggest a dyno tune. You can only do so much with a handheld tuner. But with a dyno tune you can have the tuner set up the car how you want it, and the person knows what they're doing. Looks like I'm pretty close to you if your in hayward. Have you heard of Newtech Performance? That's where a big number of the F-Bodys in our area go to get tuned. Nick, the owner, is very skilled and knowledgeable. Check out they're website or give them a call, a tune shouldn't run you more than a couple hundred.

Depends on how it's running. It's not going to do major damage but the sooner you get it tuned, the better so it's running properly. Also if you need a local forum to join, register at norcal-lsx.com

nah i dont run my car too hard cus i dont wanna do any damage..im going to try to get it tuned some time next week.
