Default Full bolt-ons.. but I still have money, advise?

So, here's the deal. I've ordered TSP 1 7/8" LT headers, O2 sensor extensions, ARP Stainless header bolts, Borla XR-1 mufflers (2), Magnaflow X-pipe, MSD 8.5mm wires, NGK TR55 spark plugs, MGW short throw, and an LS6 intake manifold. I have a shop that is going to build me a custom stainless true dual 3" exhaust and dyno tune. I'm installing the headers, extensions, intake manifold, short throw, plugs, and wires myself. Even after paying for the exhaust and tune, I'll still have plenty of money for anything you think I should get while I'm at it?

I'm expecting to purchase new wheels and tires (DR's) down the road a ways. I'd just like to know if there are any little things I'm missing or would be advisable to purchase. Things that might make install easier? Anything really. let me know

Thanks.

C.

Agree cam for sure, you will be very happy if you throw a good cam in the mix,and since your getting a tune all ready just throw the cam in,good choice on the mgw,I freaking love mine, one of my best mods to date

If you can install all of that you can do the cam yourself, there are tons of write ups to help you out,

I plan on a cam, but I was also going to swap in an LS7 clutch and 3.90's at the same time. I figure I should take steps when modding, full bolt-ons first, roll around on just that for a while, then do the cam/clutch/gear swap, probably in May or early June. Either way I don't have quite enough for a cam AND clutch/gears plus tune. I don't want to drastically jump up the food chain, I want to work my way up, ya know?

25% u/d pulley, ram air kit, ewp if you are trying for full bolt-ons.

Also don't know much about u/d pullies, I've heard mixed opinions about them, some say yes, some say no, they aren't worth money per hp gain, but I'm all ears for any recommendations and opinions on them.

I looked around for ram air kits for a ws6 (I have the hood, its just not painted/installed), but couldn't find any?? Maybe I was looking in the wrong places.. help?

I'm going to pass on the ewp, I've heard they don't often have the longest life, and this is a daily driven car.

I agee on the ewp. Check out the FTRA kit. I have an ASP u/d pulley and I like it. I didn't feel some crazy hp jump but the car does snap up faster with it. Get one used if you can find it or new as a package deal with the bolt and belts.

You can get good deals on used pulleys, port your throttle body, look into a FULL length ram air kit like the chris1313 kit from speed Inc, and spend any remaining money on lower control arms, drop brackets, TA girdle and a shiftlight. At least that's what I would do

I like your style, basically what I did and how I did it when I was first modding my car. To add to your list I would do a ported TB. Other then that if you just want to do bolt on's for now invest the money elsewhere or save it. I'd skip on ram air and hold off on the underdrive untill you do a cam. I mean you'll already be pulling that pulley to do the cam swap so might as well replace it with a U/D (I have a ASP, nice unit) plus another plus is with a cam you will be raising the rev limit and the U/D will help keep the accessories in their designed RPM limit's. Not that it will really hurt them turning faster, people spin them high everyday. One last thing, make sure you have a merge in your TD setup, H pipe or X pipe. I have a H pipe in my setup because I think they sound a little better but that is purely opinion. X pipe will make a couple more HP.

Hey thanks for the replies guys! I'm going to wait on the u/d pulley for the cam swap, I may have found a ported t/b for relatively cheap, but it doesn't come with any sensors, my old ones should swap right on though right? Seems a lot of people recommend suspension mods, so I'm going to look it to that as well as the MAF, thanks again!

I'd wait to increase the size of the maf or port anything in the intake. It's already plenty big for something short of 400hp. Do the suspension mods. SFC's first if you can't afford really good shocks. That will net you the biggest change in driveability for your buck.

Yes, your sensers will swap right over. Be a little careful with the O-ring around the idle air control (IAC). They can sometimes be torn when pulling the motor out.
