Default Fast Intake question..

Its tax time so im looking to do something with it..

I have a complete hooker setup in my closest ready to be put on the car from the lt's to the catback is waiting. As that may be Ill be needing a tune so im interested in putting some more stuff on thus making less tunning trips as possible..

now im not looking to do anything too extreme a nice 500 hp car would be cool to have with some nos just a street machine..

So my question is what size intake would you get if your looking to just run a mild setup as far as the intake mm.. I see they make em with different sizes.

what is the most common for your street setups out their??

If you're still on Bolt-ons, I'd do the FAST 92. THe 102 is a great piece but would be more worth it with a h/c setup. Keep an eye out for a used one in the classifieds.

^ Hehe Same here.. Ordered the 102, getting the TB and lid this week. Still gotta do the rails, injectors and the rest of the fuel stuff. Haven't heard the car since September. It's gonna be a handful this spring with the new setup!

if you are still stock internal I would wait on the intake and spend money elsewhere...you are not going to gain much of anything with a fast on a non h/c car...

I know of 2 people that gained nothing over a ls6 intake fully tuned stock internal cars...

^ He could prolly do an LS6 intake, come to think of it. Don't know why I didn't think of that before.
That would be the next logical step in the "bolt-on" progression.

^ What else you looking for?

LCA's? SFC's? Tq Arm? UDP? Springs and shocks? I'd work on that stuff if not done already. You can get a set of strano springs, but I'd do some good shocks with it so around $800 for Strano and bottom of the line Koni's. Just an idea.

You can also get it tuned after the LT's. Mine free'd up ~30hp after a tune. Not sure if you figured that in yet.
