Default Motor mounts. Clamshells??

I know you can buy the motor mounts from prothane but where do you get the clamshells at?? or do those come off the car and you just reuse??

I reused mine...cutting/drilling out the rivets was a pain, but it works quite well.

you have to drill the rivets out and then drill some other holes out and the new mounts come with nuts and bolts to put back together. I would recommend loctite on the new bolts

A set of mounts will come with instructions on exactly what to do. I just opened up my stock clamshells tonight with a set of Prothanes to go back in, and I was actually surprised at how easy it was to drill out the rivets and then split the clamshells. Maybe I was just lucky, but mine split right open and the mounts just fell out. You use a 3/8 drill bit to drill out the rivets, and the mounts come with the hardware to reassemble everything.
