OK guys, I have an issue and not sure what to do about it. I am putting a 2000 center bolt valve covered motor in my 98 Z 28 and the coil mounts are different... Any ideas other than buying ciol mounts for the 2000 valve cover

97 to 98 LS1 engines had the coils mounted directly to the valve covers without a bracket. In 99 they went to centerbolt valve covers with coil brackets.

You'll need to get coil brackets.

I suggest you go to a junkyard for what you need.
