Default where to find an 85MM mafs

i currently have a 75-78MM mafs on my car but i will be over 400rwhp so i think i should go a little bigger. question i have is can you use after market mafs or do they cheat your air? i have an 85MM slp one sitting around but not sure if it will work. I want to get one put on before it goes to the tuner in a few weeks do i need a gm mafs to get a true tune or not?

If you have the SLP already, give it a shot. Its simply a Silverado/Corvette MAF with a resistor wired in so it will run on the F-body tune. But if your taking it to a tuner he should be able to do the maf tune no matter what you have. Its a super simple process.
