ok guys I have a 2004 5.3, should I do a ls6 valley cover or are the 5.3 ones good. Ive looked at threads about ls1-ls6 valley covers but I dont understand why there so much better. Are the ls6 covers just flat with no holes for the knock sensors?

All gen 3 engines have the knock sensors in the valley. If the 5.3 has the breather hose coming out of the front then I'd say run that one.

Im pretty sure it has the breather coming out of the valve cover.
