Default Hooker Stainless Headers

I just installed some Hooker Stainless 1-3/4 longtube headers on my 02 Camaro this weekend. I could not believe how easy these headers went in. The only issue I had was on the drivers side subframe. All I had to do was grind an 1/8th flat spot and it was good to go. Other than that the fitment and quality is excellent! I am absolutely happy with these headers and recommend them to anyone that wants stainless on a budget. I paid $525 to the door for these.

I think these headers dont get the credit they deserve and most people dont know that Hooker makes a stainless header.

Or Hooker.

I had some coated Hookers on my old TA. The install was a breeze, and it was my 1st LT install. For the new TA I'm also gonna go with the Hooker stainless. Can't beat $525 for stainless.

Theres got to be a nice stainless y that will fit with those hookers. If I was spendin money on stainless headers I would sure want stainless for the rest of the system as well.

Anyone else have issues with the SS 1 7/8 hooker headers? they seem to be good quality and at a great price, so i was thinking about picking me up a set of these also. Was wondering if many people had experience with them?

to remove the lower 15mm bolt on the egr bracket, use a 3/8 ratchet and a deep 15mm socket.

and to remove the lower egr manifold pipe 10mm bolt use a stubby 10mm wrench.
