Im putting a ls1 in my coupe mustang and I have a 5 pin z06 mass air my harness has the 3 pin connector. Does the 5 pin mass air do away with having to have a seperate iat sensor? and does any one have the part number for the 3 to 5 pin adapter harness?

Yes the 5 pin does away with the separate IAT. As for the part number for the adapter, I'm not sure. If you've got the pigtail from the vette sensor you could just cujt and splice. Unless that is the adapter you mean.

That sensor has the IAT sensor internal with the MAF. I have that sensor in my stroker, its the sensot that TSP uses for my 100mm maf unit. I am sure TSP could hook you up with the adaptor harness.

^ You can use the pigtail and the IAT in the lid. I wired my IAT into my 85mm MAF and NOW my tuner says he can do an SD tune no problem. Damnit!! I just un-pinned the connector and grabbed some pins and a crimper from my uncle.
