Default afr 215s vs trick flow 215s

any real differences? prices are similar so just wondering if there are any advantages/disadvantages with either one. both make very similar power coreect?

^ TFS has a smaller valve angle. 13.5*, IIRC. Stock is 15*... IIRC. This allows you to run a slightly more aggressive cam without having to worry as much about piston to valve clearance.

TFS also has some powerful mid to low lift flow numbers. THAT is where the money is. Both are, still, very good heads.

Both of those heads are great choices. Have you considered the Prc cnc 215 heads. They are also close in price and definetly perform well.

^ Those flow numbers on those heads surprised the **** outta me! I agree that they're right up there, as well.

yeah i would love to see a head comparision with a healthy size cam...

I bet they would all be within 5hp of each other...

PRC, TFS, AFR...

Cant wait till you and rob get your setups done...
