i just bought some thick weatherstripping from autozone that had adhesive on one side. ran a length around my lid and underneath the lower airbox. my FTRA came with a piece of weatherstripping to seal the front of the airbox
ok so right now i just have the front slit open, if i seal that up will my mph go up? i thought i read that the more air the better
If there is a hole in the front of your air box it lets pressurized air from your ram air escape.
I'm currently working on a multiple ram-air setup, so the hole on the front of the airbox is sealed to my hood's ram air scoop instead of open to the engine interior.
