Default LTs w/ Bullets in the Y

Some of you guys mention putting dual bullets in the Y pipe to kill down on rasp. I was curious to see if any one had actual pictures of their Y pipe with bullets in them? I am looking to install Kooks stepped headers with 3" collectors, have a custom Y built with twin Vibrant race mufflers after each collector, this will go in to the Borla with electric cut out that is already on the car.

I think putting just one bullet in the I pipe would be enough,

Just make sure you get a flowmaster merge for the y pipe, that helps a lot,are you gonna run cats?I would say cats, with a bullet, would be more than enough,

No cats, the bullets are suppose to be 5" long, so I would want to place them in the Y similar to how cats would in a Y pipe with long tubes. The Y pipe will be all stainless since the headers and Borla already are, using a strainless steel Merge from Columbia River which is similar to the Burns.

Honest sounds like its gonna be a nice setup,I think a borla xr1 would work really well,I'm kinda kicking around the idea of a 3.5 inch pipe ran over the axle to a borla xr1 with a hide away tail pipe,

You talking about the vibrant, bullet muffs? They are straight through, better off keeping the ORY, unless you are just trying to pass visual inspection. I would just keep it straights or get some high flow cats.

If youre looking for where to put the bullets on the ypipe, check out the catted tsp ypipe. They have pics of it on their website.

I like the idea. It will sound much better than typical ory
