Default intake and TB advise please.

I need some advice on my DD NA car. I was thinking about upgrading the intake and TB for some extra power, but I am not sure if it will be worth it. A little info on the car; it has a 383 with TSP 2.5 heads and a CC 228/234 custom grind cam. 11 to 1 comp, step LT headers and off road exhaust. It also has a 2800 vig converter and 3:55. The car runs decent mid 11’s on DR’s @118 MPH and gets about 23 MPG on highway. Right now it has an LS6 intake and stock, un ported TB. Will just a slightly larger TB provide a good increase or should I look at an intake and TB combo. Any suggestion that will not break the bank? Not looking to get crazy here… I have a turbo car for that.

P.S. EFILive, speed density tune.

I would look at a intake TB combo.you have a great engine combo that would benefit from better intake flow.I feel your ls6 intake holding you back.

^ Yep. What injectors are you running now? I'd go with a Mamo ported FAST Fast intake. They're pretty much the best performers on the market for modified engines.

BBK SSI 85mm is good, but that'd be more suited for a bolt-on LS1, 346cui.

You could send your LS6 intake to TPIS and have it converted to 90mm snout for $350, then buy a 90mm TB.
