How well do the 01-02 exhaust manifolds flow?

How well do the 01-02 exhaust manifolds flow? I know the exhaust manis on my 98 TA sucked, but I know for 01-02 or maybe even 00 as well, GM had new exhaust manifolds for their vehicles. How much better are they? 3HP? 5? 10?
I know my 02 Z has the LS6 intake, I was just curious if the manifolds are better. I think I remember reading somewhere that they are equivalent to shorty headers?
Also, does my 02 have 4 cats on it?? Sure seems like it when I look underneath.

why not longtubes? Imo not worth it, but if you must have mani's or shortys just buy shortys they are lighter and look better and fit just like stock manifolds.
