Default LPP headers but need good y-pipe?

I've been researching the **** out of this and have decided that m not going to buy a LPP y-pipe because of clearance and the poor merge. My question is who out there is running a different y-pipe with there lpp headers and how is the fit? I'm going to be doing this in my garage and I need the y-pipe to fit decent without having to do major modification to it. Thanks in advance for your help guys.

I got the LPP catted Y and it has pretty nice clearance. It's true the merge isn't that great though. A lot of guys have been running the TSP ory with good luck. Hope that helps some.

Running a different manufacturers y pipe is a gamble. I bought the 1st gen Ebay headers (SS Autochrome) and bought the Texas Speed y pipe as a few others bought it and claimed it fit. It wasn't even close. If I were you I'd use their y pipe and not get hung up on merges.
