Free Ram Air Mod question?
When doing the free ram air mod did you guys block off the front of the box and have it only sucking air from underneath the car or did you leave it open for more air to come in. The reason i ask is because Ive seen on the cold air kits that you buy they have weatherstripping in the kit to block the front and im going to the track tomorrow and might put this theory to the test, its going to be my first time to the track and hopefully i can get some consistent runs in. Thanks

will do, i don't think limiting the amount of air in and creating more suction for the cold air from underneath with net any more power gains or track times because the filter is only going to take in as much air as it can regardless if its from the engine bay or underside. im gonna be more concerned with limiting wheels spin and 60ft times

I sealed mine off to the the snorkels.. but that doesn't help much on the Camaros...
Just keep this in mind, it is not "Ram Air" unless the air box is sealed off to a higher pressure air source.. other wise it is cold air induction, which in that case... You should leave it open and let her breath as much as she can.
