ls1water pump vs ls2 water pump

which flows better? any advantages one from the other?

my 02 actually has an ls2 style pump on it, when i ordered my 160 stat i ordered the one for the ls1 not knowing it had an ls2 style on it, i guess the previous owner had it replaced, but not sure of the reason why

^ that. i had the same confusion when i replaced mine. everyone said its not even worth thinking about it. stick to stock.
