Default WS6 air box + MTI = awful fitment

I went from the base air lid to a WS6 one last night and now my MTI clear lid fits terribly. There's a huge gap in the back of it and it appears like the whole lid is too far forward. I didn't have this issue with the base air box, is there something I can do to remedy this? I'm assuming replacing it is the only good option which sucks because I do like the appearance aspect of it.

I know the MTI clear lids generally don't have the best reputation for fitment, but it seems strange for it to fit alright on one air box and not the other.

Anyways, your guys thoughts on the matter would be appreciated. Thanks!

Hm, would you mind take a few pictures of yours? I'm curious to see the differences.

Do you have the front lip of the lid in front of the lower air box clamp rail or behind it? I had to tuck mine behind it to get it to fit right.

I think it's it front but I'll have to double check that.

Edit: That did the trick, it's very snug now. Felt like I was going to break it pressing it that far back though.
