Default F.A.S.T 92mm Throttle Body Question

I spent a lot of time sanding and painting my FAST intake and sent the bracket off to be chromed to give it a nice touch. Tonight as I was putting it back on the car I noticed the hose going to the top of the throttle body practically covers up the bracket. Does anyone have any suggestions or is there a reason why I couldn't cut the tube so it doesn't stand up so tall? The stock throttle body the tube pointed down.

Thanks!

Turn the tube down.....It will spin, it's pressed in. Just put a screwdriver in it and spin it down

if you turn it down maybe drip a little super glue to make sure you have a seal.a heated TB should seal as heated up from engine temps .
