Like a single pipe or dual? Shearer makes a single.

I had a 4" single Mufflex exhaust on my 98. When I bought it my choices were spintech, flowmaster, or magnaflow mufflers, and I went with magnaflow.. sounded great, especially with Lts and ORY

If you have an idea for what you are looking for you should go to an exhaust shop and have one custom made. All you need to look for is a muffler with a 4" inlet and a dual 3" exit that fits behind the rear axle. After installing whatever long tube headers you want just have a shop build you a custom y-pipe and then the exhaust. You likely will also need to order a panhard relocation kit for the 4" to clear over the axle easily. In my opinion the single 4" looks more impressive and muscular than a dual 3" because it really is a big difference in overall diameter piping.

I wonder how difficult it would be to make 4" over axle pipe with some mandrel bends

Mine is all mandrel bent and it only took me maybe 1.5 hour to measure, cut, and weld everything up,,but I do not have a muffler,,and my exhaust tip is on the passenger side. Overall it was simple to do.

Do you recall what degree bends you used to get over the axle?

I used a 45 going up and a 90 at the top of the axle then another 45.

Also the panhard bar is in the factory location did not have to move it.

Good deal. That's what I was going to order but I figured I'd make sure.

Damn good info, I'm gonna do something similar. True duals looks like they'd be a pain.

Hell, I'd be happy if I could just get a 4" I-Pipe. I plan on going a custom route to a CME.

What did it cost in material to make it, 1of625? I am sans welder at the moment, and thought about trying to find someone who has actually done it to do one for me and ship it......

sounds awsome, i guess you don't have any cats on there, and what size cam, i have a 236-242 duration and cats, headers on a 402. i have a loundmouth 3" exaust and looking to upgrade to 4" and a muffler with dual exit. have you ever compared your spintech to a loudmouth ext for sound? i am guessing that my 3" is robbing some power compared to 4". i am in the 500rwhp range.

Yep, no cats, fm 3"-4" merge, and a 231/237 cam. Sound wise a LM is much louder not sure about power difference though.
