Default Power Steering going out need advice

I have a leak somewhere on my power steering. It is NOT over my alternator. I know for sure when I turn the steering wheel it sprays all over the floor, (Drivers side) it has become a HUGE problem now, before it was just a drop now it sprays. I cant go a week without refilling the reservoir.

So Should I just replace the entire unit? When the car is cold and starts there is this annoying squeeking sound, the bearings I guess from the powersteering pulley or something. I dont know pulleys. And I am figuring out everything has to change right, anyone can confirm?

The pulley and reservoir need to be replaced or is it a hose?

A few years ago I had a similar problem on a car. The front seal went out. I just bought a rebuilt pump and bolted it on.

Sounds like a hose to me.. jack car up, get under it, clean all oil/grease off with a rag, have someone start car while looking with flashlight, find your leak. If u don't see it before it gets everywhere turn car back off wipe everything down and repeat.

Mine was a hose.

Find the source of the leak first. Then get a rebuilt one if needed.

check your high pressure line, just have someone turn the wheel while you look for the leak. i had a problem like that and it ended up being the high pressure line.

If ytou need any parts I went to a manual rack, I have everything from the PS cooler to the rack.

Just thought I would throw that out there.
