Default Need some help making a decision...

Okay guys so here's the deal. I've saved up the money to get headers, and I want cut outs real bad. So my dilemma is: get long tubes put one cut out at the merge (afraid it won't be much better than my catback 40 series), or get shorties and run dual cutouts right at the collector. I've pretty much figured since i'm going to have cutouts it doesnt matter about the "Y" and all that, but what do you guys think? Will this give me as much power as the longtubes with a cutout when they merge? Any input would be greatly appreciated.!!!
