Default Hi-flow cat question

Right now im running dual 3inch exhaust with bullets dumped before the axle. How much of a difference of sound would there be? And what would it sound like? Also down the road I want to do heads and cam. Would the cats be a problem?

High flow cats will greatly reduce the rasp and make the sound a little deeper and smoother. Not much in terms of volume change though.

Even with h/c, a good high flow cat will not cost you more than a few hp, no more than 5.

As was said the cats will eliminate the rasp.

Adding Random Tech high-flow cats to my CTS-V made no audible change inside the cabin but outside the car does have a deeper tone - almost like adding a subwoofer to sound system.
