Default Maf Dilemma

Had the car tuned and was told that the input air was not running at 100%, it was around 96-98. Is this an intake problem, maf problem, or throttle body problem? I have a Slp lid with stock Maf and ported and polished TB. The maf has 140k miles and only thing done to it is descreened. I am considering either buying a 85mm one or getting the ported one and replacing the sensor. Not sure if this fixes the "problem"? Any suggestions?

Thanks

The tuner is probably talking about dialing the MAF as your car is sucking more air. The question is did he tune it?

Maybe he meant your MAF sensor isn't working properly? Have you cleaned your MAF sensor lately?
