Default My y-pipe has a crack in it. I think I like it...

I have a cutout just a little before my rear axle, and with my cam, it sounds great. Well somehow, the other day I managed to basically separate my y-pipe towards the front where it meets to make the single pipe. I've been working open to close for the past few days, so I haven't had time to have it welded up. At first, I was pissed, but now I'm sort of starting to like it. It has a deeper rumble to it. I haven't really gotten on it yet, so I don't know how that sounds.

But I remember reading that some of you guys run your cutouts right after your headers, and I figured this was about the same place you are running them. So now I'm wondering if I should just leave it. Are there any reasons why I shouldn't leave it, and just have it welded up? It's not totally separated, but almost.
