Default Perimeter bolt to center bolt valve cover conversion (No PCV provision)

I am doing a head swap on my 98 LS1 and changing the valve covers from the old perimeter bolt style to center bolts. I picked up a set of center bolt valve covers, but the passenger side valve cover does not have the rear PCV provision my old style covers had.

has anyone done this conversion that can tell me how to route my PCV?

I read about doing an LS6 valley cover, but its not in the budget right now.

I'm pretty much stuck right now with using these covers that I have, I read another thread where somebody suggested using a T-fitting in the front provision and using that to connect where it used to connect in the back.

You can see here where the PCV splits and goes to the rear of the passenger side valve cover, could I just block that one line off and run the rest normally? would that harm the motor?

My 98 setup

I run a breather on the filler neck, and then a line from my driver cover to the PCV valve to the intake.

No problem. Its been setup like this for about 1k miles and very trouble free. No extra oil residue under the hood from the breather either.

The airraid breather is about 26 bucks online, the hose is regular heater hose from autozone I got about 10 feet of it.

Are those stock valve covers? Did you crimp the ends onto the hose, that looks nice

I got them off Ebay, they were from a LS2 so they do not have the extra port in the rear on the passenger side. I grinded down all the tabs and filled in the holes with JB weld and cleaned them up pretty good. Then I tried using some of the VHT wrinkle plus. It worked really well on some areas but it did not want to wrinkle over the JB weld areas so it kind of looks like poop up close. I am pretty sure if I got some high build 2k urethane primer and then used the VHT it probably would have looked nice.

I really wanted it to look like these. These are the ls9 valve covers and they look really good without the braket and the coils mount directly too the valve cover! Its not cheap ($200 and you get all the coils) still cheaper than custom aluminum but IMO it is one of the cleanest looks you can get.
