Default Coolant Crossover Tube Question

Just picked up a new tube and the rear plugs for my GTO project.
They don't seem to think i need the oval metal gaskets/with the o-ring anymore.
I'm not able to verify.
The new parts do have an o-ring...
Does anyone know for sure?
Thanks
Dom

I know the LS1's used that metal gasket with the rubber in it. I believe everything else after that just uses an o ring. When I put my FAST intake on and ordered the LS6 crossover that's what they had.

If tube and blockoffs have o-rings then you do not need the gaskets, like sjsingle1 said.
