Default Converting to new style MAF

I've noticed that most new cars have a different style MAF than our cars do. I first noticed it while installing a CAI on my friend's 2010 Camaro, and saw it again in the Nov 2011 issue of High Performance Pontiac on the Pace Car replica.
Has anyone done this? I really like the look of it over the current setup.

its the LS3/LS7 slot style MAF. you will have to get it tuned if you use one. otherwise it will work. and it takes a different pigtail but that can be found from a sponsor (SDPC).
