Default Mass Air Sensor

I just upgraded to AFR 215 Heads, 102mm fast intake and 102mm fast throttle body. Do I need to upgrade the Mass Air Sensor and if so, what size or do they even make sizes. The stock MAS is 85mm. Almost done with car and ready to roll.

I do know that when you get a tune that 85mm maf will limit your tuner to what he can get out of your set up. you have spent alot in the intake tb and heads why not keep going and get a bigger lid and maf

You have any suggestions on the lid and what kind of mass air sensor? SLP, Granatelli?

Stay away from SLP & Granatelli MAF. Go with a GM 85mm or a TSP 100mm

TSP 100mm MAF and FTP 104mm Lid sound good but what about a total MAF Sensor delete and just run a piece of silicon tube from air box to throttle body?

You could go SD with a good tune. I've never gone SD myself being my tuner said it will need to be tweaked from time to time. Different elevations & temps probably play a big factor. Personally, I would just stick to the running a MAF.

Ya the MCSS is Speed Density..you can tell with the Temperature..when it's hot out it runs like ****..cold weather and it runs awesome.

I have it narrowed down to the VE Table in my tune, if I really have to adjust it.
