Default fast fuel rails leaking

bought brand new fuel rails with lines an all it does is leak where the gauage is an in the rear flex hose. the fuel rail there are alll tight an still leaksso i took it all apart tighten more. turn key an now fuel is spraying outa flex hose wtf so pissed off i spent $400 on this stuff an all it does is leak

So what have you looked at? Have you called FAST? Did you use teflon tape on the 1/8th inch pipe gauge?

Ive installed tons of these, never had a problem.

No teflon im gonna git the teflon paste an do all fittings

I just finished up the same installed. Fast 10290/90 with fast fuel rails. Finished up tonight with no leaks any where. Is reckon a must cause I didn't?

You only need teflon tape/paste on the pipe thread fittings (like the fuel pressure sending unit)...the FAST rails use o-ring boss fittings, so if those are leaking, replace the o-rings. If the braided line itself is leaking, it was assembled incorrectly, and if the AN fittings are leaking, you either have a damaged 37* face that can be fixed by getting some SECO 37* conical seals or replacing the fitting outright. Teflon tape/paste on an AN fitting is a no-no - it won't seal anything, and could end up in your fuel injectors if you use too much.

Only leaked out on the fuel gauage an the back lines so ill just teflon them 3 spots never on fuel rails just lines

There's such a thing as too much tightening, like when you
make the first hairline crack in the cast rail. Watch that.
