Default will a tik get louder with headers?

odd question but was thinking about it, i have a loud tick coming from my pass side of my engine and am planning on doing headers and a Y but curious if the tick will get louder.

um is the tick internal or exhaust related??

^ answer that first. if its exhaust ticking then id say it would be nowhere near that. it is next to impossible to detect long tubes from ticking, rasp is another story tho

im pretty sure its internal/coming from a lifter. its a noticeable tick if you stand outside of the car at idle
