sounds about right. happened to a friend of mine with an old buick park avenue. he had a vacuum leak and took it to a shop and they found a hose that had fallen off of somewhere and fixed the leak by plugging the hose instead of finding the actual place it went. his AC was doing what you describe and we looked online and found where one of the hoses is supposed to be hooked to the firewall and it turned out to be the one the shop "fixed" by plugging it simple 2 min fix got his AC blowing in the normal vents again. i can't really help you on which hose on your car or where it goes but i think you're on the right track.

On the back of the Intake there is a small line coming out by your map sensor and going towards the passenger side, that line plugs into a little plastic 3 way splitter , its down by the PCM , it breaks easy, If thats leaking your A/C vents will only blow on the floor, I had to replace mine its like 2 bucks at Autozone. Reach your hand behind the intake and make sure that line is plugged in.

I was able to put it back, took me a while to actually find the line and then feel in the back for the plug and get them connected. Its blowing now. And Thanks omar just thought something else was leaking.
