Kooks 1 7/8 Installed
Its 2001 Camaro SS M6 w/ the SLP CME. Installed the headers and first off i have to say they are some of the best quality headers i've seen got the exhaust all cinched up . Everything went together pretty smoothly. Did Prothane motor mounts and subframe connectors (weld ins).
The only little problem is the header is rattling at idle on a cold start for a few seconds and when i get the car rolling at first. Its coming from the floorboard and i wanna say on the driver side?
I read a couple threads one guy cut off the end of a bolt on the driver side that was hitting one of the primaries and another stating he had to grind the k-member. any other suggestions would be helpful. I'll have the car up this friday so anywhere i can look will be of some assistance.

Rattles? Did you happen to break something loose on accident. I just put my Kooks headers, exact same as yours, in on Thursday and have driven so far around 75 miles on it and have yet to hear any noises. I have to take it to a shop though tomorrow so they can fab up a connection so the Y-pipe isnt just held up by the support brace, the headers, and the exhaust.

I guess it would sound more like a tapping than a rattle..
The exhaust is pretty solid. The only tight spots would be the k member on the passenger side. It doesn't sound like it's hitting the floorboard so I'm not too sure. I guess I'll have to wait till Friday to really find out.

I definitely agree with them fitting like a glove. They went in super easy and ground clearance is out of this world. Now i think my main problem might have something to do with using my CME set up.
Cause i did the fuel pump and didnt want to drill the hole to access so i dropped the tank so i ended up cutting the exhaust off on the pipe going over the axel. i ran an open pipe for a while.
So i ordered the dynomax OTA pipe welded it to the stock I-pipe and to the muffler. So i dont know if it was due to the fact everythings a little off balanced or what.
But tomorrow im just gonna grind down the kmember on both sides and give it a little clearance.
After talking to a few people experiencing the same issues as me said that fixed it.
